Tennis Courts Now Open

The Orinda Community Park Tennis Courts are now open after undergoing a slip-sheet overlay process, a specially constructed ply felt that is built for strength, flexibility, and the allowance of movement from substrates. Vintage Contractors, Inc. of San Francisco handled the project. 

All three tennis courts are now open to the community. Now that these tennis courts are resurfaced, if you wish to reserve a tennis court in order to guarantee a specific time, please complete the Tennis Court Reservation Application, click on the following link, and submit it to The Parks and Recreation Department is working towards allowing individuals to make online reservations, information about how to do this will be coming soon. Stay tuned! 

Reservations are confirmed once the application has been submitted, fees are paid, and you have received a reservation permit. No refunds provided unless you are rained out. Tennis court reservations will be posted and have priority over non-reservations; please bring a copy of your permit with you. For players interested in evening hours, the City does have Tennis Light Cards available for purchase. If you are interested in purchasing or a Tennis Light card, please contact Orinda Parks and Rec by emailing  or calling 925-254-2445.
