Art and Garden Center and Wilder Ballfields 4 & 5 Under Construction

Soon after the groundbreaking ceremony back in early June, Wilder developer Brooks Street began construction on the Art and Garden Center and remaining two ball fields in the Wilder neighborhood. The approximate 7,000 square foot, “L-shaped” Art and Garden Center consists of a single room and three adjacent rooms separated by two partition walls, with a small lobby area separating the spaces. Field #4 will be an artificial turf soccer/softball field, similar to existing Fields #1 and #2, and Field #5 is a youth baseball field with a dirt infield and natural grass outfield. An approximate 7,000 square foot children’s play area rounds out the new park amenities. The fields should be complete by the end of this year and the Art & Garden Center is anticipated to open by Fall of 2018. Questions can be directed to Todd Trimble, Director of Parks and Recreation.
