Major Development Projects

  1. Astoria at Wilder

    Learn more about the proposed 55,462 square foot, 3-story senior assisted living facility, which is currently going forward through the CEQA review process.

  2. J & J Ranch (Moraga Adobe)

    J & J Ranch is a proposed subdivision of a 20-acre site into 13 single-family home sites. Preservation of the historic Moraga Adobe, built by Joaquin Moraga, is a critical component of the proposed subdivision.

  3. Lavenida Lane

    The applicant, Moraga General Properties, requested approval for a major subdivision and tree removal permit to subdivide a vacant site into eight lots.

  4. Orinda Oaks

    On April 11, 2006, the City approved the 12-lot subdivision of the 23-acre site on both sides of Stein Way between Oak Road and Knickerbocker Lane. On January 26, 2012, the City approved modification to this subdivision and design review applications for the home designs on the 12 new single-family lots within this subdivision.

  5. Orinda Grove

    On May 17, 2005, the City received a formal application from Pulte Homes, Inc. for development of the 11-acre Pine Grove site and the adjacent 3.1-acre City-owned ball fields.

  6. Senior Affordable Housing

    The City of Orinda selected Eden Housing, LLC to develop affordable senior residences at 2 Irwin Way (site of the former library).

  7. Wilder Subdivision

    The Wilder subdivision (formerly Montanera) is a Planned Development in the Gateway Valley at the southern end of the City of Orinda.
